Role Overview

The Fire Marshal is responsible for auditing in-process hot work, ensuring compliance to Command Media documents, and responding to shipboard fires. The successful candidate will coach and counsel personnel on care and protection, ship cleanliness, and at-risk behaviors. The Fire Marshal will also assist in the investigation of fire incidents and provide assistance in crowd control, securing areas, and work-site evacuation.

The Fire Marshal will be responsible for auditing in-process hot work, responding to shipboard fires, and assisting in the investigation of fire incidents. The candidate will also be expected to coach and counsel personnel on care and protection, ship cleanliness, and at-risk behaviors.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • six (6) years of shipyard experience
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned
