Role OverviewJELD-WEN is seeking a Shipper Receiver to join our growing team. The Shipper Receiver is responsible for operating propane and electric forklift vehicles to transport material throughout the warehouse and production areas. The role involves assisting in the loading and unloading of product onto semi-trucks and performing visual inspections of material prior to loading into trucks.
What You Will Do
Operate hi-lo throughout warehouse and production area to move raw and finished product to designated areas, use utility knife to assist in unpackaging of raw materials and product, perform visual inspections of material prior to loading into semi-trucks and box trucks, load semi-trucks and box trucks with required finished product.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school education and one year of factory-related experience in shipping and receiving or forklift operation. Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math is required.
