Role OverviewThe Shipping Clerk will prepare orders for freight, express or parcel post shipments, process shipments, and create associated paperwork. They will also coordinate imports/exports, assist in assembly and labeling of packages, and provide basic support within production areas.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include accurately packaging and labeling outgoing orders, checking quantity, type, size, part numbers, etc., and entering transactions into the computer system. The Shipping Clerk will also restock consumable items, maintain general housekeeping, and contribute to the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the facility.

The ideal candidate will have experience creating bill of lading and packing lists, UPS Worldship experience, and MS Excel skills. - Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly & stand for 100% of shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong basic math to calculate costs, verify quantities, and interpret documents

- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs
- Positive 'Can do' attitude
- Knowledge of machine shop environment and operations (preferred)
