Role OverviewOversee Shipping Department activities using cost-effective methods while meeting customer delivery expectations. Reports to Shipping Manager.
What You Will Do
Implement company policies, provide training, conduct shift overlap meetings, coordinate forklift operators, schedule deliveries, prepare bills of lading, and ensure accurate stock locations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
One year experience as a Forklift Operator and supervisory experience as a proven manager/leader are preferred. Must be able to speak, read, comprehend, and write legibly in English.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Able to speak, read, comprehend, and write legibly in English
- Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
- Qualified Shipping Forklift Operator
- One year experience as a Forklift Operator preferred
- Supervisory experience as a proven manager/leader preferred
