Role OverviewThe Shipping Operator is responsible for staging Rollstock for the paper mill, operating industrial mobile equipment, and communicating with the team and supervisor. They must be able to read orders, possess basic mathematical skills, and complete documentation. The role requires excellent depth perception, physical ability to climb and maneuver equipment, and ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
What You Will Do
The Shipping Operator will operate intermittently Fork-Lifts, Front End Loaders, clamp trucks, and/or Bobcat mobile equipment, read orders, and prepare reports legibly and properly. They will also communicate orally with all personnel in the plant and operate a calculator for basic mathematical computations.
