Job Description
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for performing shipping and receiving tasks, maintaining inventory control, and operating equipment to move and deliver materials. The role also involves communicating with customers and vendors, and participating in cross-functional meetings and projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred
  • Previous inventory experience helpful
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment helpful
  • Observant with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of people
  • Experience with Microsoft products
  • Experience or training with computers and ability to learn and use Aagard specific software
  • Proficient keyboarding skills
  • Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb
