Role OverviewThe Shipping Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments. They will study shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
What You Will Do
The Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities, determining space requirements and position of shipment, and inspecting loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications. They will also direct the movement of shipments from the shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years' experience as a Forklift Operator & Forklift Certification
- One year shipping experience
- College and/or related technical experience (preferred)
- One year supervisory experience (preferred)
- Four years experience in the corrugated box industry (preferred)
