Role OverviewThe Shipping Taylor Operator is responsible for the safe receipt, handling, loading, inventory, inspection, and storage of NYS products. They will also be responsible for sorting and consolidating products, communicating with teammates, and maintaining housekeeping of material and yard.
What You Will Do
The Taylor Operator will perform tasks such as communicating with RM1 & RM2 Teammates, communicating with shuttle truck drivers, and inspecting and repairing broken racks. They will also be responsible for ensuring loads are secure for movement on transporting equipment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 1-year previous shipping experience in the steel industry and 1-year heavy equipment operating experience. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
