Job Description
We are looking for individuals to join our Shipping team in Carlisle, PA for the duration of the Summer (May - August).
The primary function of this position is to safely, effectively, and productively execute their inbound, outbound, inventory, safety, 5S and housekeeping assignment. We will train dependable individuals with a desire to work as a part of a team in a successful and growing manufacturing company.
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
Overtime may be required
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure safe, clean, and organized work areas
Inspect all material handling equipment prior to use and submit appropriately completed inspection card.
Operate all machines, equipment, tools, and devices safely and per standard work instructions, rules and regulations
Complete 5S assignment per expectation
Scan materials using bar code reader prior to picking and/or loading
Pick customer orders per standard work instructions
Load customer orders per standard work instructions
Unload inbound shipments
Stock received items
Pack or repack materials as required
