Job Description
Martin Sprocket & Gear is looking for a Shipping/Warehouse Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have basic math skills, clear communication, and the ability to read and understand instructions in English. They will be responsible for accurately locating and selecting products, verifying orders, and operating equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Product selection: Accurately locate and select products from warehouse shelves or floor locations, following labeling or stamping guidelines.
  • Order verification: Verify picked and packed items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
  • Packing for shipment: Pick, pack, and prepare various machined products for shipment, including boxing, labeling, and securing items.
  • Equipment operation: Operate powered narrow-aisle pickers safely and efficiently to retrieve products from different shelf heights.
  • Safe handling: Wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift, practice safe lifting techniques, and seek assistance for items over 50 lbs.
  • Cleanliness and safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and operate equipment following safety protocols.
  • Cross-departmental support: Collaborate with other departments or assist in different areas as needed to support overall operations.
