Role OverviewAs a Shop Drawing Designer, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive, technically accurate shop drawing packages for specialty commercial construction systems. This role requires strong architectural design expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict project deadlines. You will work closely with the Design Manager, Project Managers, Project Executives, fabrication teams, and field staff to resolve design discrepancies and maintain design intent.
What You Will Do
Develop detailed shop drawing sets, revise and update drawings using field dimensions and site-specific data, read and interpret architectural and structural plans and specifications, and maintain clear, professional communication via phone and email with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements
- 5+ years in architectural or structural drafting/design within the construction industry, with a focus on shop drawings
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting principles and construction documentation
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD (2018–2026)
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Procore preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
