Job Description
As a Shop Maintenance Manager, you will provide comprehensive maintenance services on various company vehicles, including buses, vans, and service vehicles. The role involves collaborating with the dispatch office and terminal manager, leading a maintenance team, and diagnosing and repairing Class 8 Tractors and tank tailers.

Requirements

  • Learn and use our maintenance tracking system to complete work orders and stay compliant on scheduled services.
  • Create strategy to disperse daily/weekly tasks/assignments to the shop technicians.
  • Ensure Repair Orders are accurate reflective of all labor and parts usage.
  • Follows schedule to ensure completion of all required PM maintenance operations including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotation.
  • Provide continual training and support to the shop technicians.
  • Maintains tools and workplace so that conditions are neat and orderly.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with all safety provisions associated with vehicle maintenance.
  • Understands and conforms to State EPA regulations regarding disposal of toxic waste substances.
  • Strong understanding and abide by OSHA standards/provisions.
  • Performs other duties as required.
