Role OverviewThe Kelly Group is seeking a Shop Welder for its Lafayette, Indiana, facility. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience. This position will work second shift.
What You Will Do
MIG welding of mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel, squaring up and welding of various geometries and components, and ability to read prints and understand weld symbols.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ability to meet safety standards in appropriate rigging procedures, move parts throughout fabrication facility, and tack up structures to high tolerance and weld out to exact tolerances.
Requirements
- 1 year of MIG welding experience
- Industrial construction experience or related experience/training
