Role OverviewThe Driver, Shuttle (Class B) operates the VOALA Passenger shuttle bus, or other VOALA vehicle, and performs scheduled delivery and pick-up routes, transports Program participants and staff as required, may deliver meals to outlying programs and conducts donation collection as needed.
What You Will Do
Transports individual program participants to and from various locations, assists passengers in securing wheelchairs, car seats and other mobility devices, ensures safety of passengers, operates vehicle in safe manner at all times.

Requirements
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
- Ability to perform under circumstances of possible emotional stress and conflicts dealing with difficult, uncooperative, and potentially aggressive clients
- Valid Class B Commercial California Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire, and clean driving record
- One-year experience as delivery or passenger driver
