Job Description
Mustang Cat is hiring experienced Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Mechanics for both Shop Service and Field Service positions in Houston, Texas. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you'll inspect, service, diagnose, and repair Cat diesel-powered equipment and construction machinery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must own tools required to perform heavy equipment repairs
  • Strong mechanical understanding of diesel engines, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Hands-on experience with transmissions, track systems, components, and fuel systems
  • Previous experience with Caterpillar or competitive earthmoving equipment brands
  • Proficient in technical diagnostics and able to use Cat ET (Electronic Technician) or similar systems
