Role Overview

The Site Civil Engineer will contribute to site civil engineering design efforts, including grading, drainage, utilities, and site development. Working alongside experienced engineers, this individual will develop technical expertise, collaborate across disciplines, and help deliver innovative and constructible solutions. This role is well-suited for engineers who enjoy solving challenging design problems, working closely with construction teams, and advancing toward increased project leadership responsibilities.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will prepare site civil engineering designs, develop grading and drainage plans, perform engineering calculations, and support development of construction plans and specifications. They will also participate in constructability reviews, support incorporation of contractor means and methods into design solutions, and apply design standards and agency requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
  • 2 to 6 years of site civil engineering experience
  • Experience preparing grading, drainage, utility, and site development plans
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or similar design software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
