Role OverviewThe Site Controller – Laboratory Operations serves as the primary finance business partner for Abbott's Toxicology laboratory operations in Gretna, Louisiana. This role provides financial leadership and strategic support across the laboratory organization, partnering closely with site leadership to drive business performance, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
What You Will Do
The Site Controller is responsible for financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, forecasting, operational analytics, capital investment evaluation, and business decision support. The individual in this position will deliver timely and actionable financial insights that enable data-driven decision-making while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and financial targets.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of finance or accounting experience supporting laboratory, manufacturing, operational, or other cost-intensive environments
- Demonstrated experience with standard costing, cost allocation methodologies, variance analysis, service-line costing, and cost performance measurement
- Demonstrated experience partnering with operations or laboratory teams to support business performance and decision-making
