Role Overview

The Site Coordinator is responsible for the overall logistics of the after-school program at a site. They serve as the liaison of the program’s needs and information to parents, community members, school administration, and staff. They inspire and coordinate daily after-school program schedules while ensuring a safe, fun, and positive environment for participants and staff.

What You Will Do

The Site Coordinator oversees the daily program’s operations, ensures that all staff are equipped and ready to run a successful after-school program, supervises assistant site coordinators, community liaisons, and club leaders, and manages staff schedules and daily enrichment offerings.

Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience supervising a group of children in a school or recreational setting
  • 1+ years’ experience supervising or leading a team and/or a group of children in a school or recreational setting
  • Experience working in expanded learning programs, after-school programs, or youth recreation settings preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience supporting students with intellectual/development disabilities
  • Understanding of inclusive practices and various disabilities
  • Valid FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance
  • Current TB Test clearance
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • CPI Certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and a willingness to learn new technologies and systems
  • Must successfully pass an assessment test evaluating skills in math, reading comprehension, and spelling
