Site Lead and Systems Administrator Senior

GDIT is seeking a Site Lead and Systems Administrator Senior to maintain and support Windows servers, ensuring their security, availability, and performance, while leading local IT operations and a small team at a designated site. This role involves regular patching, troubleshooting, collaborating with other IT teams to implement infrastructure solutions, and serving as the primary IT point of contact for the site, aligning with command requirements.

What You Will Do

Serve as the primary IT point of contact and site lead, overseeing local IT operations and ensuring seamless service delivery. Lead and mentor a small team of IT professionals, manage local IT assets and resources, and act as the key liaison between local site management, end-users, and central IT teams. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within Windows Server 2019/2022 Operating Systems, perform regular maintenance tasks including patching and system upgrades, and manage certificate lifecycle management processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience
• TS/SCI clearance
• US Citizenship
• Applicable DoW 8140 or DoW 8570 Certification
• Experience in systems administration and infrastructure management
• Understanding of Certificate Lifecycle Management
• Ability to prepare comprehensive documentation for systems administration tasks
