Site Manager / Procurement Specialist

The Site Manager / Procurement Specialist oversees and reports on the daily operations of the MRO storeroom, determines proper inventory levels and methods, and analyzes spend to provide cost savings and storeroom improvements. The role collaborates with various corporate departments on procurement, systems integration, customer invoicing, and vendor payments.

What You Will Do

Responsible for on-site supervision of all aspects of MRO and storeroom management operations, ensuring customer service, supply chain management, purchasing, receiving, and inventory control. Manage client relationships, advise, and consult on business processes, and execute and manage all aspects of purchasing cost-effectively.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in purchasing and managing MRO commodities
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervising, managing, overseeing, and coaching staff
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to be flexible
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
• Management of OEM Vendors
• CPM/APICS desirable
• Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred
• Proficiency in Procurement or CMMS and/or EAM Software
• Experience in supply chain management/sourcing
• Experience and familiarity with inventory control, receiving, and shipping processes
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and/or overseeing P&L
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage customer expectations
• Ability to multi-task while paying attention to detail
