Role Overview

Join OPmobility as a Site Quality Engineer, where you'll manage issues and problem-solving for internal and external customers, support new product launches, and ensure quality tools are applied by production personnel. You'll participate in regular part rejections analysis, apply and coach the use of 8D and QRCM, and maintain the Customer Quality Fast Response Board and process FMEAs. You'll also develop Standard Work with manufacturing engineering, CI, and HSE, and ensure process control by auditing controls and escalating non-compliance.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing issues and problem-solving, supporting new product launches, applying and coaching quality tools, maintaining the Customer Quality Fast Response Board, and developing Standard Work with manufacturing engineering, CI, and HSE.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • ASQ certification as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Experience dealing with demanding customers with regard to quality and delivery
  • Experience in a large manufacturing environment
  • Background in problem-solving, deployment of industrial standards, and best practices
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (QS-9000, ISO/TS16949)
  • Lean
