Role OverviewThe Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) will be responsible for enforcing safety programs, regulations, and safe work practices on job sites. This includes leading daily safety meetings, providing instructions on safe work procedures, and conducting regular hazard assessments.
What You Will Do
The SSHO will be responsible for daily enforcement of safety programs, leading safety meetings, providing instructions on safe work procedures, and conducting regular hazard assessments. They will also investigate incidents, prepare safety documents, and review certifications and training.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Top candidates will have 5 years of construction industry safety experience, 5 years of Federal Government Contracting experience, and active 30-Hour OSHA certification. They will also have knowledge of EM385-1-1 and be able to travel and work on jobsites throughout the US.
Requirements

- Active CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to travel and work on jobsites throughout the US
- Ability to obtain a clearance (if needed) to access military and government installations
