Requirements

  • Two years of experience in one of the following areas: one of the skilled trades, landscape maintenance or vegetable gardening, operation of motor trucks or large buses.
  • Graduation from a vocational or technical school with a diploma designating completion of subject requirements in a maintenance trade area may be substituted for the General Experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing of electrical, plumbing and carpentry-based items such as doors, desks and cabinets.
  • Experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical and painting.
  • Experience updating projects and work orders through electronic systems.
  • Experience working independently.
