Role OverviewThe Skilled Welder I is responsible for the fabrication, weld, and final installation of steel components in the production of blast-resistant, modular buildings and other industrial buildings.
What You Will Do
Welds components in flat, vertical and overhead positions, assists daily fit up and lay out duties, fabricates pieces, minimizes scrap and rework, and maintains schedule and budgets.

Prior experience with structural steel welding, proficiency in industry-standard welding techniques, and ability to read and interpret blueprints and product specifications accurately.
Requirements
- Prior experience with structural steel welding
- Proficient in industry-standard welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and product specifications accurately
- Solid basic math skills, including the ability to read a tape measure
- Skilled in using common hand and power tools
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must pass company-required 3G/4G welding certifications within three working weeks of employment
