Role OverviewThe Slot Tech/DR Attendant performs repairs, overhauls, and preventative maintenance on all slot machines on property. They are responsible for setting up and checking out new slot machines, responding to guest complaints, and maintaining slot floor security. The position requires a working knowledge of local jurisdictional gaming laws and company internal controls. The Slot Tech/DR Attendant must deliver excellent customer service and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
What You Will Do
The Slot Tech/DR Attendant will perform the following tasks: performs repairs, overhauls, and preventative maintenance on all slot machines; responds to guest complaints regarding technical problems with slot machines; verifies that all slot games communicate accurately with internal systems for accounting purposes; and maintains a working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws and company internal controls.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the slot department, preferably with electronics experience and/or a degree. They must possess basic math skills, be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods, and be able to obtain a Gaming license through the state of Maine. The Slot Tech/DR Attendant must have an upbeat personality and be able to communicate special promotions to guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in slot department preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Basic math skills to make change with coin and currency
- Ability to walk the casino floor up to 10 hours
- Previous customer experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent experience is preferred
- Ability to obtain a Gaming license through the state of Maine
