Small Business Loan Specialist

The Small Business Loan Specialist supports the bank's small business lending function by serving as a knowledgeable, customer-focused resource throughout the loan process. This role is responsible for communicating effectively with customers, loan officers, and internal departments to ensure loan requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and professionally.

What You Will Do

Serve as a primary point of contact for small business lending customers, partner with loan officers, coordinate with internal departments, review loan files, and maintain a strong understanding of the bank's small business lending products and processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
• Banking, lending, loan operations, customer service, or small business/commercial lending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of loan documentation, lending processes, customer information requirements, and bank operations.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain requirements to customers and internal partners.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn loan origination, document management, and core banking systems.
