Role OverviewThe Small Engine Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of small engines used in outdoor power equipment. This position includes diagnosing mechanical problems, performing routine services, and providing support to customers both in person and through remote or virtual consultations.
What You Will Do
Diagnose mechanical problems, perform routine maintenance, repair or replace defective components, provide clear explanations to customers, document service work, and ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a modern smartphone, basic knowledge of small engine mechanics, and more than 1 year of experience working with small engines. Certification in small engine repair and previous experience in customer service are also preferred.
