Job Description
Hajoca Corporation is looking for a Small Truck Delivery Driver/Warehouse Teammate at their Signal Hill, CA location. The ideal candidate will be friendly, detail-oriented, and safety conscious, with the ability to provide great customer service and work independently. The role involves operating trucks, loading and unloading merchandise, and handling customer transactions. Warehouse Teammate responsibilities include counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material, as well as maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Possess a proper and valid driver’s license
  • Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy
  • Know the laws, rules and regulations governing driving motor vehicles
  • Know of, be able to apply, and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
  • Be able to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations.
  • Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
  • Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used in the delivery process.
  • Read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred
  • Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Be able to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
  • Be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.
  • Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.
