Job Description
This Smart Money Coach position focuses on promoting financial wellness and education to members. The role involves providing personalized financial advice, managing budgets, reducing debt, and identifying long-term goals. Coaches will interact with members through phone, in-person, and virtual sessions, building relationships and growing membership through deposits, loan applications, and account openings. The role requires outbound calling, account review, and collaboration with other internal teams.

Requirements

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience
  • College degree
  • CUNA’s Financial Counseling Certification (FiCep)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of credit risk and consumer lending experience
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Ability to handle multiple, changing priorities
  • Compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., OFAC, BSA, Patriot Act, TILA)
