Social Media Intern

Aptiv is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and digitally savvy Social Media Intern to support global social media and digital communications efforts. The role combines strategic social media execution with hands-on creative development, including graphic design, video editing, photography, and short-form content creation.

What You Will Do

Assist with social media content development, support content planning and scheduling, draft social media copy, monitor social media trends, track content performance, and create engaging visual content.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital communication trends.
• Ability to translate technical information into engaging visual and written content.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.
• Experience with one or more of the following design tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Figma, or PowerPoint.
• Experience with one or more of the following video editing tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and B2B social media marketing.
• Familiarity with social media management tools and basic social media analytics and reporting.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools and digital marketing technologies.
• Portfolio demonstrating social media content, graphic design, video editing, photography, or other creative work showcasing storytelling and content creation skills.
