Social Media Lead

Fuse
San Leandro, CA
Job Description
Role Overview

As Social Media Lead at Fuse, you'll build how Fuse shows up online — growing our social presence, turning complex technical work into compelling content, and improving how people discover Fuse across social and search.

What You Will Do

Build and execute Fuse’s social media strategy across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms. Create compelling content around Fuse’s technology, people, launches, tests, and company milestones.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You'll work directly with engineering, creative, recruiting, and leadership to tell the story of what we're building and why it matters. You'll be responsible for the outcome, not just the task; if it is not working, it remains your problem until it is fixed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content, communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated track record growing social channels and increasing organic reach and engagement.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex technical ideas into clear, compelling content.
  • Hands-on experience managing social platforms including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and/or YouTube.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and organic search strategy, including keyword research, content optimization, and improving search visibility.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating social content, campaigns, writing, or audience growth.
  • Ability to work directly with engineers, technical experts, executives, and creative teams to develop content.
  • Comfortable moving quickly, working with incomplete information, and managing multiple priorities.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Relocation assistance for roles that require it.
  • Flexible time off. Take what you need, no accrual tracking.
  • 2 weeks of paid time off built into the end of each year (subject to team and business needs).
  • Supportive leave of absence policies.
  • Paid leave for new parents.
