Job Description
A highly respected New York plaintiff-side law firm is seeking an experienced and strategic Social Security Disability Managing Attorney to lead and oversee the firm’s Social Security Disability practice.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in New York; New Jersey admission is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience handling Social Security Disability cases.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience in a plaintiff-side disability practice preferred.
  • Extensive experience appearing before Administrative Law Judges and handling Appeals Council matters.
  • Strong understanding of SSA regulations, medical evidence review, and vocational analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume caseloads and legal teams effectively.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Client-focused mindset with strong advocacy and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with case management software and legal technology platforms.
