Job Description
The Social Studies Teacher will engage students in critical thinking, civic awareness, and historical analysis while fostering a deeper understanding of local, national, and global perspectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in History, Social Studies Education, or related field
  • Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification in Social Studies (Grades 9–12)
  • Knowledge of US and World History content, primary source analysis, and historical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with NJSLS and instructional technology
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience teaching high school social studies preferred
