Role OverviewThe Social Work intern will provide professional mental health care for children and youth in the Green House residential program. This position will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment to address identified personal, behavioral or family issues. The Social Work intern will utilize a strength-based, youth and family development approach.
What You Will Do
Provide individual, group and/or family therapy to children and youth residing at Green House. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to collaborate with case planning and medical staff. Maintain accurate client records and submit all time sensitive documentation within expected deadlines.

Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based, youth and family development approach. Familiarity with clinically based interventions is preferred. Must be able to remain flexible and maintain collaborative communication.
Requirements
- Bachelors' degree in a related field
- Current enrollment in an accredited Social Work school
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
- Familiarity with clinically based interventions is preferred
- Familiarity with DSM 5-TR
- Commitment to work from a strength-based, youth and family development approach
