Role OverviewThe Social Work Supervisor ensures that clinical casework and case management services provided by the staff meet or exceed expected standards of professionalism and that the prevention program complies with agency and Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) policies and contractual commitments. The role involves leadership, program implementation and development, compliance, documentation, and data management.
What You Will Do
The Social Work Supervisor will work closely with the Program Director, handle case-related crises, represent the program's needs and perspective at meetings, collaborate with other service providers, and recruit, hire, and supervise staff. They will also coordinate intake assessments, facilitate case consultations, and implement Solution Based Casework principles.

Requirements
- Master's in Social Work Required or Masters in Related Field Required
- Experience working in Child Welfare required
- NYS Licensure is preferred LMSW; LMHC; LCAT
- Three years of related supervisory experienced Preferred. Child Welfare Setting is preferred
- Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
- Must have strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, and clinical skills
- Must be able to work at least two evenings per week in order to provide supervisory support
- Must have strong inquiry skills and ability to seek and share internal and external best practices in order to achieve program excellence
- Must have a commitment to work from a strength based, trauma-informed & youth and family development perspective
- SBC Certified as a Supervisor or Worker a plus

- Salary Range: $72,000-$78,000/Year
