Job Description
The Alameda County Social Services Agency is seeking a Social Work Supervisor to oversee a group of Social Workers. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of Social Work principles and casework techniques, as well as experience in managing and supervising staff.

Requirements

  • Possession of a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, social welfare, social/human services, sociology or other behavioral science
  • The equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience as a Social Worker in a human/social services agency
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and accomplish multiple projects simultaneously
  • Thorough understanding of County and State regulations, as well as Social Services policies and procedures
