Role Overview

The Social Work Supervisor ensures that clinical casework and case management services provided by the staff meet or exceed expected standards of professionalism and that the prevention program complies with agency and Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) policies and contractual commitments.

What You Will Do

The Social Work Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operation of the prevention program, recruit, hire, and supervise staff, and ensure high-quality performance in all areas including counseling, case management, and accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements

  • Master's in Social Work Required or Masters in Related Field Required
  • NYS Licensure is preferred LMSW; LMHC; LCAT
  • Three years of related child welfare experienced required
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
  • Must have strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, and clinical skills
  • Must be able to work at least two evenings per week
  • Must have strong inquiry skills and ability to seek and share internal and external best practices
  • Must have a commitment to work from a strength based, trauma-informed & youth and family development perspective
  • SBC Certified as a Supervisor or Worker a plus

Benefits

  • Salary: $72,000 - $78,000
  • Exempt status
  • 35 hours per week
