Job Description
La Crosse County is seeking a Youth Justice Social Worker to support and empower young people involved with the justice system. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Work or a related field, and experience working with youth and families. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing case plans, and providing social services to youth and their families. The position requires certification as a Social Worker in the State of Wisconsin, and the ability to work outside normal hours and be available for on-call duties.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work or a related degree
  • Strong preference for minimum of one year of experience working with youth and families
  • Certification by the State of Wisconsin as a Social Worker
  • Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation or other reliable means for city and rural travel
