Job Description
The Ohio Veterans Home is seeking a Social Worker 1 to provide comfort and care to Ohio's heroes — wartime veterans from all across the state and all branches of service. The successful candidate will be responsible for nursing home case management, conducting psychosocial assessments, and assisting the supervisor in evaluating current programs and treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Current license as social worker (i.e., LSW) as issued by State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage & Family Therapist Board in accordance with ORC 4757.28
  • At least two years of service as of July 10, 2014 to be exempt from current licensure as social worker (i.e. LSW) requirement
  • Mental Health, Social Services, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Decision Making, Listening, Time Management
