Role OverviewThe Social Worker 2 role within the Seidman Cancer Center offers a unique chance to become part of a dynamic, collaborative interdisciplinary team. This position adds value to patient care and significantly assists individuals with various issues.
What You Will Do
Provides psychosocial assessment / intervention to assist patients/families, develops comprehensive plans based on identified psychosocial needs and/or discharge needs, and provides linkage to community resources and UH network services.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree from an accredited school of Social Work, a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license, and experience in hospital/health agency settings. Post-Master's experience and previous work in oncology or chronic diseases are preferred.
