Job Description
Provide professional clinical social work services to patients with severe and persistent mental illness in a forensic state psychiatric hospital. Conduct assessments, treatment, and discharge planning, and work with a multidisciplinary treatment team and family, community, and legal resources. Liaise with the court system and may include testifying.
Requirements
Determined by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners under the licensing requirements for Social Workers
Two years of experience rendering clinical social work services in a health care or treatment setting subsequent to the receipt of an approved Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university
