Role OverviewThe Social Worker will support the wellbeing of Department staff by providing confidential counseling, crisis intervention, and referral services. The role involves working exclusively with Department staff to address issues such as occupational stress, trauma, grief, and other personal or work-related concerns.
What You Will Do
Provide individual counseling, implement staff wellness and support programs, assess staff needs, and follow up with staff to monitor progress. Assist with deescalating crises and maintain strict confidentiality of staff records and communications.

Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work
- Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by the New York State Department of Education within one year of the date of appointment
