Job Description
The Social Worker III- HIV Mental Health role fosters positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients/families, physicians, hospital staff, community agency representatives and visitors. Provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment for identified patients and based on findings, facilitates interventions.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work (Required)
  • 5 years post-MSW experience as Social Worker with treatment of patients and families managing chronic illness or traumatic experiences. (Required)
  • Knowledge and experience with behavioral health documentation and billing (Required)
  • Experience as a Social Worker in a complex medical setting (preferred)
  • Ind. Clinical Social Worker LICSW in the District of Columbia
  • LCSW-C if providing services in the State of Maryland
  • LCSW if providing services in the State of Virginia
