Role OverviewWe are looking for a Software Architect to assess our platform's architecture and define a target-state design for an FDA-regulated SaaS product. The role requires 8+ years of experience architecting mixed-technology stacks involving PHP, C++, and JavaScript, strong expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture principles, experience designing and scaling SaMD (Software as a Medical Device) solutions, and proven success leading large-scale legacy modernization and refactoring.
What You Will Do
Assess current system architecture, integrations, and data flows to identify technical debt, scalability constraints, and anti-patterns hindering sustainable software development. Define a target-state architecture and establish bounded contexts aligned with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), clean architecture principles, and regulatory expectations.
