Role OverviewThe Software Architect for the Acuity Product Data Management (PDM) system is responsible for defining and maintaining the technical architecture, engineering standards, and technology roadmap for one of Acuity's most critical enterprise platforms.
What You Will Do
Key tasks and responsibilities include enterprise system design, cloud architecture, API and integration strategy, multi-language fluency, software craftsmanship, data architecture, event-driven architectures, DevOps, and continuous delivery.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant architecture responsibility.
- Strong experience with enterprise application design.
- Experience defining architecture for large-scale business-critical applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, integration patterns, event-driven architectures, and microservices concepts.
- Experience with Azure, CI/CD, DevOps, security, monitoring, and operational excellence.
- Experience working within Agile and SAFe delivery models.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
