Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist

This role supports the US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) mission by providing software asset management for the Strategic Command Information Technology Lifecycle Support (SCITLS) contract. You will work onsite at Offutt AFB, NE, ensuring mission success for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

What You Will Do

Establish, maintain, and reconcile comprehensive software inventory records across multiple classified environments. Analyze software usage data and spending trends to identify cost optimization opportunities. Compile audit findings presentations for stakeholders and assist the procurement team with entitlement data entry in ServiceNow or Flexera.

Requirements

• 8 years total and 4+ years of related logistics work experience
• BA/BS – may substitute additional years of experience
• ITIL Foundations 4 Certificate within 9 months
• Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI status
• Experience with Enterprise Licensing Agreements and EULAs
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience with change and configuration management
• Familiar with DoD JELA’s, etc.
• Preferred familiarity with ServiceNow (specifically the SAM module) and/or Flexera database structures
