Role OverviewThe Java Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, integrating, debugging, and maintaining enterprise software applications.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies, design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain Java-based applications.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional/educational experience
- 10+ years of relevant software development experience
- Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8140-compliant certification
- Strong Java object-oriented programming experience
- Experience developing MVC applications using Java
- Experience with JPA, Hibernate, and JPQL
- Strong relational database and SQL experience
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Proficiency with Git and Maven, Ant, or Gradle
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines or build servers such as Jenkins
- Experience with J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, and enterprise application servers
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and DoD cybersecurity requirements
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
