Job Description
The Financial Technology Group (FTG) is seeking a Software Developer to join their cohesive team of software and quality assurance engineers. The successful candidate will focus on the plugin implementation team and design and implement C# modules that perform ETL operations, data translation, and reporting. The role requires a developer who enjoys solving complex data puzzles and understands how to optimize code.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • High-level proficiency in C# with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming and plugin-based architectures
  • Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, including performance tuning and managing large datasets
  • Strong understanding of data transformation concepts and the ability to map disparate data formats into standardized schemas
  • Basic understanding of financial data structures (e.g., trading grids, hedging parameters) is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, participate in peer code reviews, and share knowledge with colleagues
