Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer in Agentic WorkSpaces, you will be part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, working on building opinionated, turnkey solutions that solve enduring business challenges. You will be responsible for delivering intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that accelerate customers' businesses through day-to-day operations. The team envisions a world where people, teams, and AI collaborate securely from anywhere to create unprecedented value for every organization.

What You Will Do

Your key job responsibilities will include indulging your love of diving deep into complex technical problems, driving incremental system optimizations, and raising the bar for operational excellence and development practices. You will also be responsible for ensuring the WorkSpaces agentic architecture leverages and contributes to shared AWS agentic infrastructure, and ensuring your team's services meet stringent SLAs across multiple production regions and OS variants.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
