Role OverviewAs a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Leo, you'll work on scalable systems, cloud services, and customer-facing products that operate at global scale. You'll take ownership early, collaborate across teams and disciplines, and grow your skills as you tackle new problems. Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network, delivering fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to design, build, and operate innovative products and services, designing and developing scalable solutions using cloud-native architectures and microservices, and participating in code reviews and contributing to technical documentation.

Requirements
- Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript
- Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related STEM fields OR completed a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in specified fields
- Must be 18 years of age or older
